About Form Six (Advanced Level)

Form Six is the final year of Advanced Level secondary education in Tanzania and the year of the Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE). It consolidates and extends the knowledge and skills developed in Form Five, with a strong emphasis on examination technique, practical competence and the ability to apply advanced concepts across combinations (e.g. PCM, PCB, HGL, EGM, CBG).

Teaching follows a competency-based curriculum prepared by the Tanzania Institute of Education (TIE). Each subject is organised into main competences, specific competences and learning activities. The year includes continuous assessment, mid-term and terminal examinations, intensive practical work where required, and systematic revision for ACSEE. Steady past-paper practice and clear conceptual understanding are essential for success.

Note: Form Six content is drawn from the official schemes of work issued by the Office of the Prime Minister (RALG) and TIE for Advanced Level. Schemes of work for all subjects are available at https://www.clickonlineacademy.com/scheme-of-work.html.
