A scheme of work (azimio la kazi) is the term-by-term teaching plan a Class Four (Standard 4 / Darasa la Nne) teacher follows across the academic year — mapping main and specific competencies (Umahiri mkuu / Umahiri mahususi), monthly and weekly pacing, teaching methods, learning resources and assessment tools for every topic in the subject syllabus.
