All Class Seven (Standard 7 / Darasa la Saba) schemes of work on this page follow the official competence-based column format issued by the Tanzania Institute of Education and the Prime Minister’s Office – Regional Administration and Local Government for the 2027 academic year. A scheme of work sets out what should be taught across the year; it is followed by a lesson plan for each lesson and a log book that records what was actually covered. Periods are typically 5 to 6 per week.
Class Seven is still taught under the earlier syllabus, so its subject list differs from Class Six: for example Science and Technology, Vocational Studies, Civics and Morals and Social Studies in English medium, and Sayansi na Teknolojia, Stadi za Kazi, Uraia na Maadili and Maarifa ya Jamii in Kiswahili medium.
