How to answer English Language questions
Read the instructions and question carefully. For comprehension and literary passages, identify the main idea before answering. Use correct grammar, spelling and punctuation in all written answers. When writing compositions or application letters, plan your ideas first, use a clear structure (introduction, body, conclusion) and choose vocabulary and style that suit the purpose and audience. Practise speaking tasks by organising your points and using polite, appropriate language.
