TIE / PMO-RALG aligned primary scheme, ready to download and personalise for your school term.
This Class Three (Standard 3 / Darasa la Tatu) Sports, Art and Culture scheme of work follows the competence-based planning format set out by the Tanzania Institute of Education (TIE) and the Prime Minister’s Office – Regional Administration and Local Government (PMO-RALG) for the 2026 primary curriculum. It is a starting point: add your school name and term dates, and adjust pacing for holidays and school events before submitting it to your head teacher or academic office.
Every row of the scheme carries the official column set: Main Competence, Specific Competence, Learning Activities, Specific Activities, Month, Week, Periods, Reference, Teaching and Learning Methods, Resources, Assessment Tools and Remarks.
Further units continue across the academic year as prescribed in the TIE Standard Three Pupil’s Book.
Sports, Art and Culture is planned at 5 periods per week for most competence blocks.
Methods include Think-Write-Pair, Share, Role play and Performances, Peer learning and Story songs. Resources include sound recordings, masks, costumes and play scripts. Assessment combines exercises, questions, group work, project work and tests.
